Remember when I said I was very on the fence about allowing people to use my work? Well, turns out my fears continue to be made manifest.

A friendly NewGrounds user just informed me yesterday that this person used my "It's TV Time" cover for their Geometry Dash level, and I come to find that there is no instance where they gave me credit for making the original cover. The only possible hint of credit given to me is in the level's description page, where it only vaguely cites my cover as the music used for said level, but that hardly counts.

This is why I am so adamant about people giving me proper credit if they were to ever want to use my stuff in their own works, and it's also why I don't trust people to use it in good faith, cause this isn't the first time someone used my work without giving me credit for it.

However, while I feel that I have been wronged, I am by NO MEANS trying to start a witch hunt on this user, I am merely using them as an example to prove why I am so hesitant to just freely allow others to use my works like this, that's all. Hopefully now you understand my point of view, and please, do not witch hunt this person by any means, just because they potentially stole my hard work doesn't mean they should be ganged up on and harassed, that would only be stooping to their level.

So with that being said, let this be a message to all who may want to use my work for their own purposes in the future, please just be more aware to give credit where it's due. Thank you.
